Our Doctors...
Dr. Jeff Rockwell
Jeff's ambition to be a veterinarian began as a young boy. As soon as he was able, Jeff worked at an animal hospital cleaning cages and walking dogs. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Yale University and completed his doctorate at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Jeff worked in his home state of Connecticut before moving
to Marblehead and opening the Atlantic Veterinary Hospital in 1994. Dr. Rockwell is the current president of the Veterinary Association of the North Shore. In addition
to a full time schedule at the hospital, Jeff's three sons and menagerie keep
him busy at home.
Dr. Kate Cronin
Kate completed her undergraduate degree at Boston College. Her work experience includes, marine mammal conservation research in Baja, Mexico, and work-study at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Prior to veterinary college, Kate enhanced her studies at Harvard
Extension School. Kate completed her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Tufts.
Kate and her husband just welcomed their son Bradley Beckett Sheridan. Beck enjoys spending time with his canine siblings, Harley & Tessa.
Dr. Jason Story
Dr. Story brings to our office experience in ultrasound and endoscopy.
Jason is originally from Marblehead – graduated from Marblehead High School, received his Bachelors of Science from Cornell University and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University.
Jason has four dogs and eight cats and in his free time, enjoys all sports, especially ice hockey and plays in a local mens league.
Jason advanced his hockey team to the finals this year.
Dr. Leslie Siewko
We'd like to welcome the arrival of Dr. Leslie Siewko to our practice. Dr. Siewko is a graduate of the University of Amherst and Tufts University-Veterinary Medicine. Her veterinary interests are ultrasounds and exotic/pocket pets.
Her family is made up of her Fiancé and all their beloved pets: Minos a mixed breed, that they just adopted; Sassy a golden; Stasiu, a Boxer; and 8 cats: Duncan, Four-Four, Crash-man, Po-Po, Allie, Moose, Andie-Pants, and lastly Larry the mouse. In our memories always, will be Wynton!
When she is not working at the hospital, Dr. Siewko likes to work on her home, go to flea markets, and work with children!
Our Office Manager...
Our Office management is handled by Lisa Randell.
Lisa has 15 years experience in the management field. She also handles our Information technology and Human Resource needs.
Our Support Staff
We are grateful to employ dedicated professionals who work together to provide outstanding patient and client care. Our nurses each have advanced education in animal science with special interests in ultrasound, equine medicine, behaviors and marine mammal medicine.
We recognize our receptionists as the first and most important contact to the hospital. Our experienced staff have varied backgrounds but share a love for animals and people.
