Dr. Jessie Michalek

Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Jessie Michalek’s goal in every appointment is to create lasting relationships with both pets and their people. She believes veterinary visits should be welcoming, supportive, and, when possible, fun for everyone involved.
From an early age, she knew she wanted a career in healthcare, and working with animals felt like the most natural fit. Becoming a veterinarian allows her to blend her passion for medicine with her lifelong appreciation for the special bond between people and their pets.
Dr. Michalek lives by the mantra “Just keep swimming,” a reminder to stay calm, adaptable, and positive—especially on busy clinic days. Whether she’s navigating a challenging case or a packed schedule, this mindset helps her focus on progress, compassion, and doing her best for every patient.
When she’s not at work, Dr. Michalek can usually be found at home with her husband, John, and her coonhound mix, Clyde. Whether they’re going for a walk, playing fetch, or just lounging on the couch, Clyde keeps every day full of laughter and love. He’s equal parts snuggle buddy and mischief-maker, making sure there’s never a dull moment in the Michalek household.
Fun fact: She spent nine years in California before her New England roots brought her home.
